Just 5 days before the election their was a rare briefing to reporters on fox news giving a detailed account of what was going on here. They state the CIA refused to assits those americans who were under attack at the US mission. Fox news stated that the Americans there kept calling for military back up but it wasnt given to them. The CIA denies this and states there were a few dozen officers on site. This attack has been a huge part a debate during the Obama Administration and they ave been criticized by republicans.

  1. It would be nice to hear an article about Benghazi that didn't base its facts on an "unnamed source" Both this CNN article and Fox's news report have done this, so I think I'm going to wait for the investigation to be done before deciding who to believe. It's sad to think that help didn't get there in time, and a lot has been said about this with regard to the fact that the marines stationed there were pulled out at least a month before the attack when they were needed. Seems like somebody messed up, and it would be interesting to hear how this is affecting the citizens of Benghazi.

  2. Meghan brings up a great point in that most news articles and televised news shows that are reporting on Benghazi (amongst countless other issues) with random facts from "unnamed sources." What's with that? How can they call it news if they're not telling us where it's coming from? As for this whole Benghazi attack, there have been so many rumors floating around I don't know who to believe anymore. I think that in itself is sad, that theres's not one place we can go to for the real honest truth.
