The united states says they were taking measures to protect its citizens against angry protesters, the people of libya were upset because of a film they thought was offensive to Islams.
Many protested at the US embassy and tore down the American flag.

Hilary Clinton also responded and was heartbroken she was very strong about her feelings about what happened, Libyas own general national conference also was against the attack.

  1. It's sad to see something like this happen. Religion always seems to be one of the main players in conflicts and wars around the world. It will be interesting to see what kind of effect this event will have on the upcoming presidental election.

  2. I also agree with Lucinda. That the fact the events in North Africa is quite of an unfortunate event. What got my attention about this conflict is how the U.S. perception of this war will pan out on future lending monetary funds to the newly form govt. in Libya?
